The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce is running their second annual Hudson Gives campaign in support of Hudson County non-profits. This year, the Rotary Foundation of Jersey City has signed up to participate in this online fundraising effort. This one day giving event will not only provide much needed funds to our Foundation and other Hudson County charities, but will assist in bringing awareness of our good work to a wider audience.
Jersey City Rotarians are asked to support both the Rotary International Foundation and the Rotary Foundation of Jersey City as part of the Every Rotarian, Every Year program. As the Club's Foundation Chairman, Jim Miller has asked each member to step up and meet their obligation and support our Foundation. If you haven't done so yet, please make your $100 annual contribution for the 2019-2020 Rotary year through our page on the HudsonGives web site on Thursday, May 14.If you have already made your annual contribution, please consider giving more. We will be eligible for prizes and potential matching funds through all contributions given on the day of the event. If you will not be available on the 14th, the page is currently open for early donations. All donations raised through the HudsonGives event will go to the RFJC general fund. If you wish to receive Foundation Fellowship credit by making your donation to our Endowment Fund, please contact Steve Stamos and let him know of your intention.
Please consider serving as a champion of our cause. While on the RFJC page, you can register by using the "Fundraise" button to ask others to support our Foundation. You can also share our page through all of your social media to friends and family who support the great community service work done by our Rotary Club.
The Rotary Foundation of Jersey City is our Foundation. It is the way we fund the projects that are important to us as a Club, and the projects that are important to our community. The Rotary Foundation of Jersey City is a 501(c)(3) community foundation, and contributions to the fund may be tax deductible to you as a donor.
