Sarah's Daughters Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation

The Rev. Bertha Reels, founder of the Sarah’s Daughters Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation, will speak at the Jersey City Rotary Club’s meeting this Thursday, August 17 at Liberty Prime Steakhouse. The Foundation’s mission, according to a news article, “is to help those involved in violent relationships and remove the stigma so that people who have previous experiences with abuse can receive emotional healing as well.” A self-published author, the Rev. Dr. Reels earned her Master’s degree in Human Services from Lincoln University in Philadelphia and her doctorate in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Seminary.
